August 21, 2012 MATC Convocation Membership Meeting
President Kent addressed a full house over the lunch period during the August 12, 2012 MATC convocation. President Kent updated members about the impact of ACT 10 on bargaining and explained the negotiating and legal strategies that the union leadership will be employing in an effort to move the membership's agenda forward. The presentation was well recieved and a thoughtful question and answer discussion followed.
